Room 14 students performed an action-packed and entertaining scene from The Tuckshop Kid for the Year 4, 5, 6 and 7 students on Friday. Students identified the dialogue (speech of the characters) in a section of the novel, wrote a script in pairs using this dialogue, rehearsed and performed their scene. They considered the different roles, and how the characters would speak, move and interact with other characters.

Performing in front of the Year 7s was a bit scary, but students did an excellent job and received some valuable acting experience.
