The Tuckshop Kid - Script Performance

Room 14 students performed an action-packed and entertaining scene from The Tuckshop Kid for the Year 4, 5, 6 and 7 students on Friday.

Students identified the dialogue (speech of the characters) in a section of the novel, wrote a script in pairs using this dialogue, rehearsed and performed their scene. They considered the different roles, and how the characters would speak, move and interact with other characters.
.
Performing in front of the Year 7s was a bit scary, but students did an excellent job and received some valuable acting experience.
.
Awesome effort Room 14!

Welcome to Our Blog!

Dear Students, Parents and Caregivers,

As part of our classroom ICT approach, we established this online ‘blog’ for our class which will provide a forum for students to communicate with the school community about important notices and class events, as well as showcase student achievements through writing, photographs and video of their work.

Please check back for updates as the term progresses, including photos of our 'What's In My Head?' silhouette/profile collages that are currently being created and weekly student reflections about what we've learned.

We welcome your positive comments about our hard work and achievements!

Warm regards,

Miss Michelle Mildern
